What’s On for UK Alumni in New York
The UK Alumni Group of New York has hosted and promoted events throughout the year for UK alumni across New York and the Tri-state area since 2010. Some we run ourselves; others we help member chapters cross-promote so they reach a wider audience.
What to Expect
Our events lean toward a few formats that work well and are worth repeating:
- Happy hours: relaxed, quarterly gatherings open to alumni from every UK institution.
- Speaker evenings & fireside chats: conversations with interesting people from the UK–New York community.
- Networking receptions: for making professional connections across universities.
- Informal socials: low-key get-togethers, plus “Coffee and Chats” video sessions to keep the conversation going between events.
Every event we run is open, inclusive, and held in keeping with our Code of Conduct.
